Which one do you prefer?

We'll be spending our last full morning at MK (DME @ 1:30pm) and would like to enjoy a fun breakfast before the park opens at 9:00am.

We've eaten lunch or dinner at both restaurants, but not breakfast.

TIA for your opinion!

I would go with CP because that way you will be in the park, ready to go, when you meal is over.

I also say CP because being in the park before it opens is a wonderful experience!

Even though I have not had breakfast at CP, I have heard it is quite good, and it sounds incredible to be in the MK before official opening. I would go with CP.

:mickey:Agree with everyone -- I honestly think that the breakfast food itself at both places is really, really similar.....but there is simply nothing like walking down an almost empty Main Street USA! Great photo ops of you and you alone in front of the castle! We always start our trips that way, but it would be a great way to finish them, too.

Crystal Palace definitely! One thing though if you want to take a few photos before the park opens---- try for an 8:20AM-8:30AM reservation. I always worry that if I have an 8AM reservation when the park opens at 9AM, that I won't be let into the park until 7:45AM; and that's not enough time to be let in, take a few shots, enjoy the peace for a moment, and get to the restaurant on time. If I have a reservation for 8:20AM or so, I could still be let into the park at 7:45AM and have time to do the few things I would like to do before checking in.

Crystal Palace, definitely. Chef Mickey's is one of the restaurants we hated this trip. The food was almost inedible it was so gross. At least Crystal palace is somewhat good. It isn't on our top ten because its just kind of like a golden corral or a ponderosa, but its decent. I liked chef mickeys on our first two trips, the third trip it was just ok, and this year it was just a big mistake.

So, if I'm reading this correctly, the earliest you'll be let into the park is 7:45am? How late can your ADR be and still get in at that time? 8:15? 8:30?

Crystal all the way. Very good breakfast and as poster say above you are in the park before it opens. It is wonderful to be just a handful going to breakfast and Who doesn't love Pooh....

I have to agree with everyone. We try to do a pre-park opening breakfast in one of the parks each trip.
