Beach Club has always been 'home' to us.

That's a toughy. If I could have free nights stays I would say the Contemporary. If I have to pay, I would say Port Orleans French Quarter.
But, I do love them all. :mickey:

I am trying to work my way into an informed decision on this (like i see Ian has)(from his previous silly resort question thread)
but if i had to go on just what i have seen and not experienced,i would say poly

For me, it would have to be Wilderness Lodge. I was ready to move there after our very first stay. Love it!!

I'd have to say the Polynesian. We don't feel the need to stay here every trip and have really made CSR our new home, but if you really don't get to stay anywhere else, I want to be here.

TO Live! Aw man, what a decision. I have not been to all the resorts even by half. I have my dream places to stay, which I have achieved one, but have about 3.5 more. Anyway to live???? I think I would want to live at the Wilderness Lodge. I love the pool, the atmosphere; it just seems like a realy home like place above all the others. My dream is to stay at the POLY, GF, BC & YC. But I still think wilderness lodge is a homey place.

If money were no object, then the Poly. It reminds me of when I lived in Hawaii:mickey:

Port Orleans Riverside. It was the 2nd resort we stayed at on property as a family when it was still Dixie Landings (stayed at Caribbean Beach 2 years earlier and it was so big my mother kept getting lost going from the bus stop to the room). I've also stayed at Boardwalk and All Star Sports, but the POR theming brings me back every time. For our upcoming trip, it took me 3 months to persuade the Boyfriend that the extra money was worth it versus staying at a value (and he still may not be convinced even though we leave in 12 days- LOL!).

If money were no object, it would be the AKL with a savannah view. Otherwise, we would definitely pick the Coronado Springs.

We'ev pretty much made that decision already after trying others early on. Easily the Poly for the view if MK, the fireworks, the theming and transportation.

Polynesian, for sure, because of theming, transportation, and dining choices.

Has to be Wilderness Lodge

Until our last trip I would have said the Boardwalk, without hesitation. It is now a toss up. I still really really love the action of the Boardwalk, and its proximity to my favourite park (Epcot), but we had the pleasure to spend 8 nights at Old Key West last month, and I gotta tell you.... I really really really feel like I had a holiday this year. Its relaxed feel, and incredible rooms may just have convinced me to buy additional DVC points there.

It would be a toss up between WL and the Poly for me. While we've not yet stayed at the Poly we love just being there, and tend to spend lots of time there eating and just taking it all in. However, WL just feels like our WDW home.

I'd say a toss-up between the Poly and WL, but I've never stayed at WL. Guess I should do that soon so I can compare the two :mickey:

It is not a resort but, I would have to pick the Cinderella Castle suite. You could all come by and visit from time to time.. If not available would pick a castle view princess suit at the Poly....Come to think of it, as long as I was living in the same zip code as Disney World it would be ok.

Contemporary Resort-Tower-MK view

Yep -- I was about to write this exact thing as my answer  While WL is still about my favorite for theming and ambience, there is something about being able to sit on your bed at night and watch WISHES that just makes you feel in the heart of Disney. I loved waking up to a view of <ahem> "my" castle as well. If I only got one resort, this would have to be it.

If the North Garden Wing, the Food and Fun Center, and the Concourse Steakhouse were still there, I would have a very difficult time choosing between Poly and CR....But....with those places so special to us gone, not even close...Poly!
