I just received a txt message from a good friend who lives in florida with an annual pass. It read " Just got off TTA, it's open again" Just in time for me to get there tomorrow! I mean... Tom Morrow.

Yay!!!! We missed the TTA more than Space Mountain on our June trip. So glad both should be back open by our Nov. trip.

FYI, as far as I know there is no view inside Space Mountain. Walls surround the TTA inside the building...

I'm guessing the view will be back once the Space Mountain refurb is finished.

I rode it yesterday and there are really not that many updates. There are red lights that I don't remember ever being there in some of the dark tunnels...other than that same ole wonderful TTA!!

There are walls to block the SM construction and there is a MESS outside where they're demolishing the old skyway/bathroom buildings. It STINKS over there! Bad!!!

Here are a few pics I got...

Wow, I am shocked that Disney didn't block the view of the demolition with a wall. That was a horribly depressing site!

I wonder when they started the demolition because we didn't notice any of that going on when we were there a couple of weeks ago.

I was there last Thursday and Sunday, but the TTA was only running on Sunday. I'm not sure if they were working on SM and surrounding area on Thursday and didn't want to run the risk of debris getting to close to the TTA?!?!

Anyway, I too was shocked by the view of the torn down building - and some of the heap of metal looked like it may have also contained some pieces of old track.

Rode it again this morning...they're making progress in the demo I think. Most importantly it DIDN'T STINK today!!! Yahoo!!! Made it MUCH more enjoyable.

I don't know why but I'm sad to see that building go. Even though it wasn't used for anything but bathrooms (that was probably what the smell was) I thought it was cool. I would sit there on the steps sometimes (out of the rain) and wonder what was inside and what they used it for. It has just always been there. Wonder what they will replace it with. I guess with the TTA being up high, there was no way to hide the demolition.

We were there Friday Sept 11 and the TTA was open at the MNSSHP that evening. As you are leaving SM, if you look up, you can see people working on the coaster. They even waved at us.

Those Tomorrowland bathrooms were the one place in Magic Kingdom where there never seemed to be a line, LOL( for the powder room that is). With my 4 year old niece in tow, it was a much quicker process for the newly potty trained "I gotta go now" syndrome. Oh well, now she's 8 and can wait (or at least make it to adventureland or the tucked away loo over by the teacups)! I guess I even Ishould expect longer lines too, don't wait to the last minute (my mom would always say).

Glad to hear the Wedway people mover is moving people again! :mickey:

Sometimes there's just no way to avoid it. I remember when the Skyway was in place and Snow White was closed you could clearly see everything going on behind the walls...not to mention quite a few backstage areas.

I think they try their best to hide construction but if certain attractions are elevated or follow a certain path there's sometimes no way to hide it.
