Loving the posts talking about how dead all the parks are recently. We leave in 14 days and were curious....now that a lot of the crowds have gone...how long is the TSM standby time?

Anyone there now that can tell me?

My mom was there yesterday and she had a 50 min wait towards the evening time.

1) Don't expect the lines to go down.
2) A lot of people still want to get in.

At 11:00am yesterday it was only 30 minutes.

The shortest time that we saw was 40 minutes on Sept 3rd.

Is it just me or does everyone love the short lines when they are going, despise them when they are there but are unconcerned when others experience it? Are these the same people that demand investment in upgrades and new rides, but fail to see that reduced crowd levels means less money for investment and additions.

You can not have your cake and eat it too.

Last week after Labor Day we were there and walked right on to RRC and TOT twice! Went over to Toy Story and it was a 45 min line. Got a fass pass at 10:15am but it was not good until 6pm!! We came back at 6 with our fast passes (which apparantly ran out by noon) and the stand by line was up to 80 min!! Even with our fast pass we waited 30 min! I would get to the park before it opens and run back there and do it first thing! Thats what we are doing in December!

I still don't understand the outrageous wait times. California Adventure NEVER had this problem. The longest I ever waited for it there was 45 minutes, tops. The line never stopped moving. Grant it, that version doesn't have fastpass either, but I never saw the wait go above an hour.

Yes, but you must consider all ride options at HS verses CA. I mean, technically speaking, HS has only 6 moving rides.

when we were there in December we saw wait times over 80 and 100 minutes. I will be happy with a 30 or 45 minute wait time but will definitely try to get the fast pass first thing. 13 days and counting!! :mickey:

We were there Aug 30-Sept 7. I think we did TSM at least 12 times. The times posted for stand by were way off. Many times it said 40 minutes or more and we either walked straight on or were on in less than 15 minutes. We couldn't believe how far off the times were.

I too was just there from Sept 2-12 and the wait times were way off on most rides. The longest we waited was 20 minutes and that was around 11ish. It was awesome. We got on 4 times in a row- my arm hurt otherwise we would have gotten back on.

No matter how long the lines are, the more important question is...will you be wearing white?? (good natured joke based on another post -- NO offense intended)

We were there August 24th and went for a fast pass when the park opened and had to wait 15 min. for the fast pass it was for 11am. The regular line was down the street and around the corner. The ride was well worth it.

My friend is there right now and says it is still the fastpass or nothing there. Well, if you want to wait 30 minutes or longer then I guess you don't need a fast pass. But, you will see that you will get very spoiled with the lines this time of year and not want to wait. I think the big draw is the fact that it is the only ride that is really aimed at children in the Studios.Think about even Star Tours, you have to be 40 inches (don't quote me on the height).

TSM is a new ride and EVERYONE can ride it. So while you can walk on RnR and ToT you still have to be a certain height and like thrill rides, with TSM, you just have to like having fun! hence the long lines.
