He is in the Navy and just got home for a week of r & r. I can't wait to get off work to see him. :cloud9:

For all of you who said "thanks", my son says "you're welcome." He hasn't had much r & r though. The ER flow slowed down, and my team leader was able to send me home early :thumbsup:. So, I got to sleep about 5 am. Got up at 9, and we headed out to visit my daughter for lunch at her school (at 10:30). Then we headed lunch with my mom and sister at Denny's. Afterwards, we saw my other son for lunch at the school and visited a few of DS19's old teachers. Now we have finally collapsed on the couch. He's going to visit his father's side of the family tonight. He'll be ready to go back to work by the time he's done visiting everyone. :D

Yeah - he is home!! Sounds like you both had a busy day. Please enjoy the rest of his visit!!! Oh, tell your son thanks for his service from me. (I have been told that our children volunteered for service but we got drafted. Thank you for standing by his side!)

So happy for you! And please add my thanks, too! How cool it is that for so many of us, that was our first thought to express. Let him know how much we appreciate him!
