My son recently turned 10 and we are travelling to Disney in a few weeks. Could we still buy the kid price for him or will he have to show proof of age?

You will need to buy the adult ticket.

Really, whether or not you could "get away" with only buying him a kids ticket could be very embarassing if they asked for age, or it came out that he was really 10. I always figure that it isn't right to teach my kid that it is OK to lie just to save a bit of $$.

Sorry, it would be great if kids tickets at Disney went to a higher age, wouldn't it?

Unfortunately you will need to buy an adult ticket, as ibelieveindisneymagic said.

INTERCOT's Terms of Service does not allow discussion on ways to beat the system at Disney World, so I'm going to close this thread.
