I'm sure this question has been asked and answered time and time again but here goes...

When I call the Disney Dining line can I ask specifically for waterfront dining or is it first come first serve? I'd really love to eat waterfront as I've never done so :(

We've always been seated by the enterance where the light streaming in ruins the ambiance:shake:

You can request waterfront dining with Disney Dining, but its not guaranteed. When you check in at the podium at BB you can let them know that you prefer waterfront and you are willing to wait for a table.

If you make your reservation in the first available slot, and you're there at check in time (ten minutes before) you're pretty much guarenteed a water spot. I'm not sure about dinner, but lunch seating started at 11:30. We got there about 11:15 and they sat us almost immediately.

You can make reservations 60 days in advance by calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE, or (714) 781-3463.
