We have never done the EMH in the eve. because our kids were so young. I think they might be up to it this year so here is my question. We always like to go back to our resort in the afternoon and swim and relax and then go back to the park in the eve and have dinner. Would we be able to get the wristbands in the evening or do you have to be there much earlier in the day? I guess I don't understand how they work. Thanks

The wrist bands usually are not handed out until about 2 hours before the parks close, and you can pick them up at several locations.

There are no more wristbands for EMH. Now, you only have to show your Key To The World (KTTW) card before getting on every ride or entering each show/attraction.

I have found that the EMH in the evening are no longer worth attending due to the confusion caused by having to show room keys to get on rides. The Cast members don't always check so guests who don't stay in the hotels end up staying for the extra hours and, as a result, the crowds are bad.

If this has changed recently, please let me know because I don't plan on attending any evening EMH due to this problem.

i love the way they used to do emh nights with the wrist bands. now some genius came up with a idea to cut back staff that would escort guests, not allowed to stay for emh nights to the front gates (no wrist bands).
now you have to show room keys to get onto the rides, the cm's working the attractions look for the keys but for the sake of not getting into a arguments with the guests because of language barriers, large crowds, guest not staying in the same group...teens "my mom or dad has our room keys because they are shopping at the store over there" the cm's have given up strict enforcement of the rules.

so to sum it up. it's not a magical reward to the guests staying on property. but the early magic hours are still great:thumbsup:
