I have been in a Disney depression! I've listened to the WL music online, watched the vacation video, and still need relief. I was wondering if there were a movie that would make me think of the WL. My friend suggested "Dances with Wolves". She told me it was very wildernessy, and it took place in the Civil War. That is the WL! Do you guys think that this is a good movie to watch for my WL craving? And if so, please suggest any other movies you may think will remind me of the WL! Thanks so much!

How about re-runs from the program Ponderosa.

Or the movie Big Country.

Get some DVDs or videos about Yellowstone. That will let you check out the Old Faithful Inn.

And how about the "Great Hotels" episode about WL?

Thanks for your suggestions! But seriously, does anyone think "Dances with Wolves" is worth watching?

Yes, it's a great movie. But I don't think it will remind you of WL. Most of the movie takes place on The Plains. And it is not a Civil War movie. There is a fictional Civil War skirmish in the first scene and that is it.
