so with the new online system for reservations do you have to use that or can you call in and make your reservations. I was wondering because friend said she tried to call and was told that the only way you could get adr's was by using the online system. Sounded silly to me...we have family members who do not have a computer so how would they make adr's? :mickey:

You should still be able to call in, from what I know.

You may call Disney dining or use the online portal. It is a choice of which you are more comfortable using to do your dining.

Disney will never do away with calling, at least not in the foresable future. The world just isn't that connected yet.

So no worries, you can call, or go on-line.

I did both. Booked online then confirmed later things "took" by calling.

I found calling worked just fine. 6 reservations took less than 15 minutes from the moment I dialled to me hanging up.

I think the on-line system would have taken me just as long

I booked my 5 online ressies is less than 8 minutes. Then I called at 7am to confirm (I was paranoid) and was on hold 7 minutes.
