Is it ok to leave tips using disney dollars? for dinning and mousekeeping?

IMO, no it is not okay. This limits the tipee to spending the Disney dollars at a Disney establishments. Would you like to get paid using Disney dollars?

Just my opinion though.:blush:

A lot of people live off their tips, and having to spend them at the resorts really limits their value (an how many souveniers do people need?). Not sure if they can be redeemed for cash or not, but I would bet the answer is no. And even if they can, it is a terrible hassle.

Another no vote. Cash can be spent anywhere, whereas Disney Dollars can only be spent at Disney.

I would leave "real" tips - either cash or charged.

Much easier for the server/housekeeper (and I'm sure much more appreciated)

I would use real cash. This saves the cashing them in hassle.

I think sometimes we expect employees - CAAAAST members - to get caught up in our magical Mickey vacation when for them it's a day at work.
