has anyone ever done the online check in for all star music and how far in advance can this be done?

I believe on-line check in, regardless of where you're staying, can only be done 10 days out.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here...

You're right, you can use the on-line check-in up to 10 days in advance of your arrival.
