Just for fun - What is the latest you have ever left one of the four WDW parks?

Anyone here ever been the absolute last guest to leave on a given day?

I don't think we've ever been the last guest out of the park for the day, but we've stayed till around 2am lots of times. I think the lastest we've ever left the park was around 2:30am on an EMH night when the park stayed open till 3am! We just couldn't go anymore. There were still a good bit of people having fun when we left.

Wow, we get the parks early, but have never even stayed until midnight. We are so tired usually that unless we are there for Fantasmic, Wishes, Illuminations etc... we usually leave by 8pm or 9pm

Same for me. Grad Night in '95 we were in the Magic Kingdom until around 4:00am.

3 am at Magic Kingdom any time we are there and they have extra magic hours until then - and that is getting there when the parks open in the morning and not leaving all day long! WE LOVE IT!!!:mickey:

Our latest time in a park was 3am at MK. I couldn't believe the young kids that were still up while we were there enjoying EMH from 12-3am. It was so much fun and one of our great Disney memories!

I left the park at 4 AM a few times during EMHs at the MK. I was one of the last people in the park since I was talking to a CM I knew around Park closing.

But one time I was the absolute last guest out of the park during E-Ride nights. Again I was talking to a CM I knew and was walking towards the Hub my friends had left about 40 minutes before I did since they didn't want to hang around and listen to me talk. I approached the hub and there was lots of activity and to my surprise a show started on the Castle stage so I sat down and watched the show. The show ended and was getting ready to leave and the show start again which I thought was really strange. As I was about to get up and leave a security guard approaches me and says can I help you. I said nope was just watching the show and a bit confused that it was starting again. He said the park is closed this is a dress Rehearsal night for the new show and he escorted me out of the park. There were no buses running at this time so I walked to the CR and took a bus back to DTD and then back to my resort

I think around 2:30 am is the latest we've ever made it...but we've done this several times since we tend to go during the super busy Christmas to New years holiday.

We have left MK @ 3 am on a couple of occasions. We've been the last riders on Jungle Cruise a couple of times. In May we were the only people on Jungle Cruise and had a BLAST with the guide. I love being in the parks until the absolute last minute!

One trip in the 90s,we left Epcot so late, when we went out the gate there were only about 15 cars left in the lot.

Not the last guest, but a couple of 3AM departures from MK last trip.

The last night we stayed in MK from the morning to 3AM. I don't remember the monorail ride back.

3 a.m. at the MK on Christmas Day 2006. The weather was horrible that day, so the park was empty all night. We had a blast! :mickey:

I have been with the absolute last people to leave the MK- 4:30 AM

We were fortunate to be filming the 25th Anniversary Special with ABC in 1996. The other guests picked to film left about 3am (we were shooting after the park closed) and they had buses to their resorts. We were the only ones that stayed at Dixie Landings which is where the film crew was staying. Rather than get us our own bus, they had us ride back with the crew.

Since they had to tear down, we had to just hang out.

Other than when my sons were born, it was the best night of my life!

I just transferred the VHS tape of the show over to DVD.

4:30am last year for Grad Nite. But I try not to remember it :D. We were at the Magic Kingdom gate at like 7:30pm and we bought the early tickets to get in at 8pm, two hours before everyone else can get in. Yet we didn't get into Tomorrowland backstage to get out from our bus until about 10:30pm. Then by then it was just wall to wall with people and we only got to do Space Mountain, BTMRR, Buzz, Pirates and Philharmagic in about 6 or 7 hours. Fun because it was something different than just the regular park, but I've had lots more fun with the same friends I've gone with then on regular days. So because of the whole situation last year, this year's class went to Grad Bash, which is Universal's Grad Nite.

If we know we're doing evening EMHs, we make sure we get good, long naps and get up around dinner time so our kids have lots of energy. We plan to sleep really late the next day and do as little as possible until around 3 pm.

I've never been there later than 1 am, in fact, I wasn't even aware the parks were EVER open past that time. My family and I always go EARLY in the day so we don't stay past normal closing hours often

I'm glad to hear you had fun. I'll be honest and say working Grad Nites was my LEAST favorite experience. Many of the grads are nice, but many more get way out of control and cause a lot of problems. Grad Nites was the only time I ever had to raise my voice at multiple guests because it was the only thing that was capable of making them listen.

Hahaha, I can more than understand where you and all CM's would come from with Grad Nite's. I remember at the Haunted Mansion there was a frenzy to get in with nobody following the marked queue at all. Just a bunch of groups cuting and trying to find their friends. Granted they didn't have cutbacks set up once you got underneath the shade portion of the queue, but it was out of control. And it made POTC and HM pointless because you couldn't hear anything with all the noise inside the attractions. I know I wouldn't want to work those nights, that's for sure.

One July we stayed until almost 1am. While that is not late by most standards what I found the the strange was upon getting back to the resort the pools were all packed. I'm talking everyone staying at the resort, ASsports, seemed to be poolside. From the elderly to the newborn babies and everyone in between. All the pools were packed. It was like out of the Twilght Zone.

I had NO idea the pools were opened that late in the summer! Maybe it's because it's so hot and everyone takes those mid-day naps that they have the energy to swim at 1-2 a.m.

We always go during value, too, but we do the evening EMHs. We have stayed until 1 or 3 am during value thanks to those EMHs.

It was in DL after riding the Indiana Jones ride. The park was open until 1:00 AM. We WERE the last people admitted into the ride. I think by the time we rode on the ride and walked out the gates it was 2:00 AM. We were pretty much one of the last guests to leave the park that morning:thumbsup:

Well theres late and there's late-early.

We once left Epcot EMH at 12:31a and busted the gate at DHS at 8am.

That move REQUIRED and alarm clock.

My latest at WDW is probably 1am. However, I can say that my latest at ANY Disney park is 6:30am at Disneyland for Grad Nite. Watching the sun come up as you're walking through Main Street is pretty weird.

10pm...When I go on vacation I try to do as much as I can without overdoing it. I like to relax on my vacations so I never really stay an later than after fireworks.

The latest was last years Halloween Party at 2:30am! It was really neat to sit on the porch in the rocking chairs watching people leave the park. Wonderful ending to a great day of fun!
