1) I know some variation of this topic has been asked before

2) You can't reply "go back to WDW"

OK, I got back from a great trip with my family in early June, and I'm already longing to go back to the World! We've gone every year for the last several years, and I'm definitely not getting tired of it.

I think I am a Disney junkie/addict, because the more I go, the more I want to go back! My wife loves going (and my daughter does too), but my wife is getting a bit tired of us going to Disney for every single vacation.

I know this sounds horrible, but I'm trying to squeeze a 3 day weekend by myself to go run the Tower of Terror 13K in October, but I don't know how long that will tide me over.

I also know that I'm not alone in being such a Disney addict. It's just so much fun!! My wife seems to think that, at 37 years old (almost) I'm going through some sort of a midlife crisis, where instead of chasing women or wanting to get a sports car I'm wanting to visit Disney more and more and more.

So my question is, if there are any other disney addicts out there, what do you do?

Way too much time on Intercot :)

Going to MagicMeets for the first time this year

Having a subscription to Celebrations magazine :mickey:

But, all this can only tide me over until I can start planning the next trip :(

Yeah. There's a Disney on DVD set floating out there that I may try to order. This may only make matters worse though.

Sigh. I guess I gotta go write a whole lot of Long Term Care Insurance to justify two vacations to my wife for next year!

We have the Celebrations magazine, too, but I miss the other magazine.

Our son is a CM at Disney so he takes pics of events going on and sends them online so we can sit and sigh. We get our fix that way!!

Lots of time spent on Intercot!

Watch You Tube Videos of anything & everything from WDW!

Watch WDW planning dvd's & shows we've recorded from the Travel Channel - Just love Samantha Brown!

I check every week to see of anything about WDW will be on Travel Channel.

Look at our photo albums and scrap books.

And luckily, we have a group of friends & family that are WDW obsessed like we are & we always enjoy talking anything WDW with them!

And I'm always making notes & keeping a list of things for us to do during our next WDW trip! :mickey:

:mickey:Obviously Intercot! :rocks:

:mickey:Surround myself with Disney (I try to think ahead while I'm there and pick up lots of goodies I'll use at work and home. I also have decorated much of my house (somtimes subtly:secret:) with Disney, and always go Disney with my classroom. (Painting it like a pirate ship right now).

:mickey:When I'm not actively planning my next trip, I'm helping somebody else plan theirs!

:mickey:Going through my last pictures...

:mickey:Watching the old planning videos. Just remembered that I ordered the newest one a few days ago. :woohoo: Going to check the mail!

Just start showing signs that you might be chasing women and looking at sports cars, and maybe she will be happy to indulge you in your Disney "crisis" instead!

Or she may kick you out of the house? :nono:

I am 33 and my wife makes fun of me because of all the WDW stuff I do. :D
Since I came back from my last trip, my Disney addiction kicked in.

Stuff I do:
1.Intercot and other Disney-themed websites.
2. WDW park music on my iPOd and Live365 on my laptop.
3. Disney movies with my family.
4. WDW videos on You Tube.
5. Planning videos. (Comcast used to have videos in their On Demand, but they are gone now.)
6. Photo albums from past trips.
7. Books about WDW.

Im an admitted Disney addict, and with the last trip over a year ago and none planned, I am in Disney depression
Although these arent enough, my main "coping techniques" are intercot daily, live365, and daily podcasts on my ipod. I also cook a Disney recipe or meal once a month (on average)

That's a pretty good trek to come down here to central PA for MagicMeets!!! This will be my second year attending, and I only live about 1/2 an hour away.

See you next month!!

In between trips, the things that help are:
1. listen to Disney music

2. watch videos on Youtube

3. look at pictures from trips past

4. plan out the details when the upcoming trip gets close enough

I like to collect the holiday themed characters. So on most holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day) I have those in spots through the house.

Two that were said that I agree with:

1) SOunds of the parks on Live 365- very cool!

2) Just discovered 3D Disney on Google Earth this week. Am I the only freak that "walks" down mainstreet towards the castle? It is sooooo cooooool. Just wish the controls were smoother but may just be my computer and me needing to get used to them.

I wish they had a live park cam- think they used to- I would have it on my desktop 24/7.

I'm a hopeless Disney addict and proud of it. :mickey: It's been a long time since I've been (December 2007)! That's the longest time between trips that I've had in about 10 years. :(
How I cope:
1. Visit Intercot on a regular basis
2. I get the Disney Insider email once a week
3. I get another site's email once a week
4. I listen to Disney music several times a week (I can get away with it because I play it for my students:thumbsup:)
5. Watch Disney movies occasionally (I actually had a Disney movie marathon recently when I was sick one day and didn't feel like doing anything else) :D
6. Look at pictures from past trips
