If DHS closes at 10:00 PM can we stay for Fantasmic at 10:30 if we do not qualify for EMH (staying in a holiday rental home)? Please help! Thanks, Aunt Kari

Are there 2 showings that night? ( an earlier one for non-EMH folks?)
I don't know 100%, (I'm sure someone who knows for sure will be along shortly) but I'm assuming the answer us no. I imagine they would check room keys before entering the Hollywood Hills Amplithearer just the same as they would check before entering any ride. If it were Wishes or Illuminations, you could totally get away with it, but my guess for Fantasmic is no, you would not be allowed in, sorry!

You actually can every time they have Fantasmic recently is 9:00 and 10:30 showings with the park closing at 10:00 while you wont be able to get on the rides without your room key they'll let you see Fantasmic even if you're not staying on resort.

If the Gates close at 10:00pm you need to be inside the park in order to catch the 10:30pm Fantasmic! On an EMH day, they will check tickets and resort ID (if seperate) upon park entry.

Okay, so do the experts agree the answer is yes, we can stay in the park and line up and see it even if we are not in a Disney resort? Thanks everybody, Aunt Kari

In January they even made an announcement after the first show was at capacity, that everyone was welcome at the second show.:mickey::thumbsup:

Wouldn't you already be in your seats by 10pm? I don't know for sure, but I can't see there being any issue...

Of course, things are always subject to change, but ...

For the past few months, Fantasmic! has not been performed on EMH nights. The 10:30 showing has been just to accommodate guests who could not get into the earlier show.

In the distant past, when F! was being performed every night, there were sometimes performances scheduled during EMH that were limited to EMH guests.
