Late EMH Question??

I am generally an advocate of avoid late EMH at all cost. BUT, on my next trip to WDW I would like to slow down and maybe not ride as many attractions but just enjoy the park itself and look at stuff. So I am thinking about going to late EMH just to be in the parks at night and see the lighting and everything.

It has been a while since I have been so do they still do wristbands or do you just show your resort card at attractions??

although i wish they would, they do not use the wristbands any more, you have to show your room key at every attraction, which imho is a big pain and i would assume the occurrence of lost room keys has gone up quite a bit, which i would think would offset the cost of the wrist bands

no more wristbands, and they weren't as bad this year as years past as far as crowds go. Magic Kingdom wasn't bad at all, nor was Animal Kingdom on EMH pm day.

didn't they get rid of wristbands because the off property hotels were copying them and getting their guests in?
