Space Shuttle Launch

Did any of you get to see the Space Shuttle Launch yesterday. :plane:
I know a lot of earlier posters were dissappointed with delays during there earlier trips.
Today (7/16/09) is the 40th anniversary of the first walk on the moon launch, Monday for the walk.

Are we getting old or what?

I see on the Kennedy Space Center site that there will be a Rocket Launch while we are there in September.
Hopefully we will get to see that one.

It was not visible from my home in Florida, too overcast at the time of launch over my house (Disney world guest probably had the same experience would be my guess, because technically I'm closer to the KSC at home than at Disney, but someone who was on property can confirm for sure whether the launch was visible. The launch was great to see live on CNN & online at Nasa.gov (1.15 minute delay)though! It was fun running between my driveway view and the TV/Computer checking thouh to no avail. :blush:
