July 15, 1998 – The “Disney Magic” arrived at Port Canaveral, Fl. for the first time.
July 15, 1999 - Part of SEGA closed at Innoventions West and the rest closed a month later.
July 15, 2000 – Six Walt Disney Imagineers came together for a special lithograph signing to pay tribute to Disneyland Park and “45 Years of Magic.” The event took place at The Disney Gallery located in New Orleans Square.
July 15, 2002 - Facade work begun on Maelstrom at Norway in Epcot.
July 15, 2005 – Disneyland’s Space Mountain reopened after a 2-year refurbishment. Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, took part in the opening ceremony.
July 15, 2005 – The Disney Channel Original Movie “Life is Ruff” aired.
July 15, 2005 – Disneyland announced that the “Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage” would be built on the old “Submarine Voyage” attraction (It would debut June 2007).
July 15, 2005 – Disney’s “Turtle Talk with Crush” attraction opened in The Living Seas Pavilion in World Showcase in Epcot at WDW.
July 15, 2006 – The 2006 DisMeets in Allentown, Pa. took place. The 3rd annual event featured presentations by leading Disney- site webmasters.
July 15, 2006 – The Disney Channel aired the episode “Oops! I Meddled Again” from the “Hannah Montana” TV series.
