Weird Al Yankovic has a new song/video on Youtube that's a funny tribute to the Jungle Cruise! Well, it's actually more of a parody about Jungle Cruise captains. Check it out, just look for "Weird Al Skipper Dan" on Youtube. Or, PM me, if you can't find it.

I loved it! I sent it to DS, who's got the musical backround equivalent of Dan. So far he's only spent one summer playing "Tiki Tiki Tiki Room" and the theme from the Incredibles in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle. But he gets his Master's next month and I figured I'd let him know what he might be in for. And he's got lots of friends he can share it with!

I just viewed it, and thought it was quite funny, and yet, curiously disturbing. ;) I'm certain many JC skippers won't know whether to laugh or cry once they see this.:mickey:

Okay this is probably a RREEALLLYYY stupid question, but I haven't been on the jungle cruise in literally like 18yrs (seriously, no joke) and I don't remember the "backside of the water" reference what does it refer to?

When you pass under the waterfall, the captain points to the waterfall and declares a site you won't see anywhere else, "the backside of water"! This joke has been around for a very long time. I remember it from DL when I was a child.
