Does anyone have any experience with connection to AT&T/Bellsouth dial-up Internet service from WDW property.

I have DSL service at home, but I can use the dial-up number if I need to connect while traveling. When I use AT&T's website to give me a number to dial in to, it warns that they cannot determine whether or not it is a local call (I used the direct number listed on Intercot for All-Stars Movies as a call-from number.)

Can anyone tell me if calling 407-896-7275 from Disney property is a local call???

I would suggest that you call your phone service provider, I would think that they could tell you quickly.

I know when I used dial up I got a list of number I could use but there was not guaratee that it was not long distant.

You will still have the local phone call charge added to your room bill.

I am considering using my cell phone as a dial up for my lap top as it has a usb interphase cord for down loading to my computers.

Hope this helps:mickey:

I just did a google search which I should have done in the first place. Here is some information that I found from another site.

Q: What are some local internet dialup numbers that I could use?

UPDATE: It has been brought to our attention by another poster that some of these numbers may no longer be local. Please double check with the front desk upon check in for local access numbers. Once you've tried out the number, give the front desk a call to find out if it really was local or not.
