Renting points?

We are DVC members but would like to rent some points to use for an upcoming trip. Is this possible and if so how do I go about doing this?

I guess I used the wrong term. We are looking to transfer points since we are DVC members.

Exactly, as a member, you want to get them transfered to your account. You need to check out some of the DVC trade forums. They exist, just not here.

Last I heard, points were going for about $10-$11 but it's possible this changed in this economy. You are a little more protected than someone who's not a DVC member as once transferred, the points are yours and you have control over the points.

Use Google, I'm sure you'll find a few hits. Disney doesn't sponsor this type of activity, they sell full contracts, not single use points.
