EPCOT Water Fountain

Is the EPCOT water fountain near the front of the park operational? I believe it was drained due to an electrical fire several days ago. We will be there in two weeks, and like to watch the water fountain show and cool off.

According to another site, it was operational as of 7/5/09.

I recall sometime in 2003 or 2004, the fountain was down for MONTHS! It is just so oddly quiet when the fountain isn't running, like a dead eerie calm.

The 4th is was operational I believe. I'm not sure if it was before then or not. I remember commenting on how they were able to fill it so fast.

I can't believe it was down that time of year at all, but I guess an electrical fire might be a good reason. That soon after a rehab though, you gotta wonder.

We arrived at EPCOT on 6/27/09 and it was empty, drained, eerily quiet :cry:. It was the saddest thing we ever saw. We asked a CM who said it would be up and running by 7/4 and sure enough the cool mist and wonderful dancing water was back.:cloud9:
