I read this morning in our local paper that Gale Storm died on June 27th, she was 87. Didn't hear anything about it on TV. Does anybody else remember watching My Little Margie & The Gale Storm Show as kids?

Yep-- I'm old enough for that although just barely ;).
Read a comment from one of my young students/facebooks friends the other day that
"Hollywood deaths always come in 3's...
Farah, MJ, and now Billy Mays"
Doubt they would've know Farah except for the
recent chronicles of her cancer battle on TV.
For us oldies Gale and Ed McMahon might be worth remembering too.

My DH and I were listening to an Older Than Oldies radio station in the car one day last week and they played a song by Gail Strom. It brought back pleasent memories of childhood and how cute she was on her TV shows. RIP, Gail you brought much laughter into many peoples lifes.

I just read that comedian Fred Travalena passed away on Sunday, too.

If I'm counting right, that puts the list at 7 in the last month or so. If we believe the "comes in threes" theory, there would be two more to go.
