Looking forward to being at Epcot when BBVD is there. When you are there during the performances is it something you can still see/hear if you are just walking around nearby? I don't really want to try and sit down with our 3 and 4 year old so I am hoping we can still walk around and enjoy the music.

We'll be there the same time as you! DH would also like to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (and of course I wouldn't mind either) so I'm wondering the same thing you are. Don't think either of the kids would care for it, but we're lucky that our kids are older and can wander off by themselves if they don't want to listen.

I'll watch for you (the lingerers near the band) trying to entertain a 3 and 4 year old!

Have a GREAT time!

1) We enjoyed them last year.
2) Tough to see, as others are standing to view them.
3) You can hear without being seated.
4) But, there is no where to sit while listening.
5) Difficult to keep little ones occupied for 20-minutes while standing.

We stumbled on one of the concerts last year and I was surprised by how loud it was. We were just passing through not sitting in the theater. If you bring the kids bring them something to protect their ears.

The theater is outside so you can stand right outside the seating area and still hear the entertainers. It really is a very casual venue - if you don't care about being up close pick seats at the very back of the theater so your kids can stand and move around a little during the concert.

Its at the same venue as candlelight processional right? We went to CP last Christmas and enjoyed being up close...our boys (age 2 and 3 at the time) were really patient and sat well through it all. I just don't want to go through waiting forever in a long line to get a seat when we can be walking around. I don't necessarily want to wait in one spot and watch the whole show but would enjoy being able to hear it if we are walking around the area. WDWCrazyKaren, I'm sure we will pass each other! Look for the double stroller!! :mickey:

We saw Jon Secada last year and he was really good. We even went back for a second show. This year we will be there for BBVD & Richard Marx & really looking forward to them.

Where are these concerts? Near what Country? I have never seen the Candle light processional.. so I have no idea where it is.

The theater is right across from America, on the water side. It's an open air theater. You can stand on the walkway and listen to whoever is playing. That's what we did for the C.P. with my 2.5 year old nephew. He had a ball listening to the music and he could run around too.
