I know we all talk about how hot it gets at WDW in the summer--- but it's 106° where I live in Roseville, CA. How about you, how hot is it???:jaw:

Here in Louisiana it has been "ridiculous hot"!
Got in my car the other day and the temp inside was 112! Heat index some days has been 115. We need rain!!!!!

Down the street from you nicster in Fair Oaks. The themometer said 108. Yikes. What a weekend. At least it is a dryer heat than in FL although I would rather be at "the World" then getting things ready for work in the morning! :secret:

We're in the process of moving and have been at my in-laws in east Texas the last week or so and I've been enjoying the 100 degree heat, with 50-60% humidity. Yep, enjoying it. I'll take that any day over the 90 degree/90% humidity where we lived the past 3 years. Humidity is the deal breaker for me!

Today it was about 65 degrees out. cool and rainy/overcast.
My ds was at a pool party today and the heater was on in the pool and the kids were still coolish.
thank goodnes the mom hosting the party had enough chardonnay to keep us warm
Seriously, it is the end of June and I dont' think we have seen the sun more than 5 days this month!
I don't mind the coolness but the rain is kinda getting old. Suppose to be cool and rainy all week :(
I guess come August we will be longing for this weather

It has been in the upper 90's with 100% humidity for nearly three weeks straight (heat indexes well over 100). No rain to speak - we need it. :(

It is supposed to get up to 81 degrees today in Massachusetts. Cloudy right now though.

It's been in the high 90s with high humidity in western Illinois for the last two weeks. The heat index has been 105-110 each day, so they'd posted excessive heat advisories. Luckily Saturday night we had 3 big downpours, the temperature dropped and you can actually go outside again. Today's supposed to be around 80. (never thought 80 could be so cool!)

Yesterday, it was 105 degrees at 5:30 pm with at least 90% humidity. There is no such thing as a good hair day around here:ack:

We had a cold front move through this weekend so we are only expecting highs in the low 90's today. We had 100+ degree days all last week. I can't even bear to think about July and August.

Here in good ol Carolina, it's forecast to be Carolina Blue Sky's, light breeze and about 88/66 degrees this week with low humidity. Last week we had the heat with low 90's and high humidity. Just getting us ready for that September Disney Heat!

It's like day 36 with temps of 98 or above here, but like Melanie said, at least the humidity is only 40% or so. I think it's supposed to get to 102 today. The good thing is that scattered thunderstorms are in the forecast this afternoon! Then we will "cool down" to the mid-90's for a few days, lol!!

How hot is it? It is so hot ...

1) I have to take my dog swimming because he burns his feet walking on the sidewalk
2) I have to use a shade screen for my windsield just to keep the steering wheel cool enough to touch
3) I have to cover my car seats so I don't get first degree burns just sitting down while wearing shorts
4) My swimming pool is warming up to bath water temperature

So how hot is it where you are? It is 108 today.

It's been 103 here for the last week and a half. No real rain in months.

We can solve this problem really easily if all ya'lls up north who are tired of the rain...step outside on your patio at 7:00 pm central time (all ya'lls got to be in synch here), point ya'll selves in a southerly direction and BLOW real hard....Then maybe you'll send some of that cool rain our way.:cloud9:

Later after we get a bit wet...if we have any of these stupid sunny blue skys...we'll send them your way.

It's 65 and drizzling outside. This may is the coldest summer I can ever remember. Since June 1st we have had 11 days with highs below 70 while our normal is 80.

I would much prefer 90-100 so we could enjoy the pool and evenings outside. Summer where are you?

Here in Central MA it is 61 degree's, it's been raining most of the day, it is thundering now, we had a little sun yesterday....I can't remember the last time we went a week without rain.

Checking in from South Jersey, its been a cool and rain summer so far. Last week, it finally got a like more summer-like but the weather has been nice. Its in the low to mid 80s with low humidity which is the nicest part. High humidity is the worst.

Last part of June we had a long spell of 90's plus high humidity. Kansas City has Mexican summers and Canadian winters - woo hoo.

Right now, we're on our way back up to 90's and humid. :(

Another cold one in the northeast. High of 75. They say. But there is no way it's that ! I have on pants and long sleeves ! And I'm still cold ! I feel for the people roasting. Can we get some of your summer ? We haven't had any. Try to keep cool ! Oh soak up some of the sun for me !!!:D

Go ahead and rub it in. I can't find a smiley that shows people sweating profusely - but just use your imagination - whew!

I would love to visit the bee-u-tiful Northeast and bring some of that cool, delicious air back home. :D

We've had a very cool summer so far this year! Normally I've had to have my AC on a lot by now, it's a window one, and I don't even have it installed as yet, I haven't needed it! Lots of rain too, we don't usually get that much here in the summer. It can stay cool for me! Getting tired of the rain though, had a doozy of a thunderstorm go through here this morning!

I spent most of June and early July in PA, CT and VT. It was cool, somewhat rainy, and surprisingly not humid! I was able to straighten my hair there and keep it straight! Back in Colorado during the same period it was fairly cool, stormy, and not humid (as is typical). Now that I'm back in CO, it has reached the low 90's several days, but it's never humid.

P.S. Know what a swamp cooler is?

Here in New Jersey it's beautiful at 75-80 degrees and partly cloudy with low humidity. It's in the sixties at night. The forecast for the next ten days is more of the same. Now before anyone accuses me of rubbing it in, our June was cool and extremely rainy (I actually wore corduroys and a turtleneck sweater on at least one occasion), so the weather now is making up for our crummy June. In July, it's usually about 90-95 and about the same % humidity, so I'm scared to ponder what August will hold for us.

We haven't really had summer yet this year. We had a couple of warm days, but no high humidity or smog days to worry about. As I write this it is almost 10 pm and the thermometer is sitting at 18 degrees C - that's about 64 degrees F. It only got to about 26 today, nice and comfy.

Hasn't been to bad this year. We have had a lot of rain keeping the temps down. Today is 98 but feels like 102.

Here too. Not complaining just got my bill from NYSEG. They lowered my budget. The really cool summer = no ac. The hot spring (it was warmer here in April then now.) = no heat.

A little less rain & greyness would be nice though. Even with rain being predicted every day the news says we are 2" behind normal. maybe so but we have had enough that I don't have to water my garden which means lower water bill & more money to give the :mickey2:.

I know, it is great to leave the a/c off. I shouldn't be complaining! And it's been very comfortable. Just surprising.

Good thing they switched the name to 'Climate Change'. 'Global Warming' just don't play in this state (MI). If there is any truth to Global Warming, I urge everyone to go outside a exhale some CO2. I want to spend at least some time in my pool this year.

So today, in Portland, Oregon we hit 108 degrees. This is now the all-time high temperature ever for Portland, beating the old record of 107 which had been around since 1981. Normal for this time of year is mid-80s.

Of course, we had record cold and snow fall in January, so it all balances out.

It's been a record cool month for us here. It's only in the 70's today. We never hit 90 at all during the month of July. That's never happened since they started keeping records in the late 1800's. I'll take this any time.

Well, summer finally arrived in Southern Ontario this past weekend. We now have nighttime temperatures that are higher than some of our daytime temperatures a couple of weeks ago.

We topped 30 C today with high humidity and smog warnings, it felt more like 39 C. Last night it dipped all the way down to 23 C. That's warmer than it was during the day last week.

All this, just in time for the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto.

Come on, everyone! Let's sing together:

Let's go to the Ex!"
