We are 2 families and 8 in total. We need suggestions for dinner before MNSSHP in late September. Thanks

We went to LTT but they no longer have characters so I am not sure if you are interested in that situation.

Liberty Tree Tavern gets my vote, even without characters. After dinner, you walk out into the party. That's where we made our reservations. :mickey:

Like you, we are 2 families of 4; we made our dinner reservations at Crystal Palace. We figured it would be a quicker dinner than a traditional sit down dinner. Hope this helps. :mickey:

We always eat a Kona Cafe before MNSSHP. It has somehow become a tradition for us. It is pretty easy to get to and from; on and off the monorail. We always get one of the first seatings around 5:00 pm for dinner. By the time we are done and get back over it is around 7, if not a little before.

We've always eaten at the LTT...a 4:15 reservations...so we finish up around 5:30pm...if you are really pressed for time...we sent DH to get Space Mountain (not open this year) FP before the dinner reservations (he ran there and met us at the restaurant)...then while we were waiting for dessert...he ran to Thunder Mountain to get a second set of FP...hows that for timing?

Do you want to eat in the park? If so, remember that you can get into MK with only your party ticket at about 4:00.

We are set for a Crystal Palace Dinner with Pooh at 4:55 on 9/29 right before MNSSHP. I figure we will be right there ready for the action when we get out!

We will be at the party on 9/29 also. We have a 5:05 at Kona Cafe.

We are going to 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, we will then jump on the monorail or boat to MNSSHP. We would have done Crystal Palace but no times available. The rest of the dining options I can do without in MK.

We are going to Chef Mickeys for 5:05 pm. I have eaten here for breakfast, but not dinner- hope it's as good. Good luck with your decision and have a great trip.

The two times I have gone to the MNSSHP we ate at the Crystal Palace. We try to get reservations around 4:30 so we do not miss any of the event. As another poster stated, you can get in as early as 4pm with your party ticket. Have fun!

WE are going to MNSSHP :pumpkin::bat::pumpkin: on September 11th and we are going to :eat: at

The Crystal Palace. That way when we walk out the door, we'll be at the PARTY.

I'll be there the 29th too. We are planning on eating at 'Ohana at 5pm. Was the only night that 'Ohana was available for dinner that worked with our schedule so it hopefully will work. I hope to be at MK before 7.

Looks like there will be a few of us there on the 29th! We're thinking of doing the Crystal Palace as well, probably around 5:30 or so. How long does a dinner at Crystal Palace usually take? This will be the first time we're trying it! :mickey:

Just a thought-and maybe not as crowded...if you can't get an ADR-try Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland (this is a Counter Service option). We think this is a great place to eat. They have chicken, potatoes and vegetables-a pretty decent well-rounded meal. Also, salads and hamburgers/fries are available.

Have fun!:mpumpkin:

This is what we did last year and it worked out well. We prefer to get a quick meal and get on to the festivities. Peco's Bills and Casey's should be open as well.

We prefer a CS meal when we go, but the other suggestions here sound great.
