June 27, 1997 – Disney’s “Hercules - - Zero to Hero Parade” debuted at Disney-MGM Studios in WDW replacing the “Toy Story Parade.”
June 27, 1998 – The Disney Channel Original Movie “You Lucky Dog” aired.
June 27, 1999 – The 2-day celebration to honor the 30th Anniversary of the Haunted Mansion continued at Disneyland.
June 27, 2005 – “John Fiedler” the voice of Piglet in Disney’s Winnie-the-Pooh films, passed away at the age of 80.
June 27, 2005 – Disney’s new free online game “Disney’s Virtual Magic Kingdom” was launched.
June 27, 2006 – The soundtrack from the Walt Disney Pictures film “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” was released.
June 27, 2006 – Buena Vista Games, Inc. released handheld video games based on the feature film “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.”
June 27, 2006 – The original Broadway cast recording of “Tarzan” hit store shelves. The Walt Disney Records release features a score by Phil Collins, including five songs from the 1999 animated film of the same name.
June 27, 2008 – The Disney/Pixar’s computer animated cosmic comedy “WALL-E” (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) was released in theaters.
June 27, 2008 – The “Journey into Narnia: Prince Caspian” attraction opened in Disney-Hollywood Studios at WDW.
