I just read on here about someone getting notified of a family members illness through facebook. I totally see where facebook would reach alot of people quickly to get info out to them, so I am not anti-facebook or any other chat sites.
BUT... I thought I'd share with all of you, that I have deleted my facebook account, and am signing off/deleting all of my online social accounts and giving up my computer goof-off time for a year. wish me luck....
TTFN!!

Social networking sites can take up a lot of time unless you're very careful with it. Good for you. I'm sure you won't regret it. Best wishes!

Good luck!:)
(Of course, by now you should be off-line for the next year and won't see this until 2010!)

I was going to post saying good luck but like pp mentioned, it's too late for that. So either it will be a year and you made it so Welcome Back! or it is less than a year so Good Effort! You made it longer than I could!

I couldn't do it. I have facebook on my iphone, and my job entails being on the internet all day, so it's always up and running. Pathetic, huh?
