June 21, 1996 – Disney’s 34th feature film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” featuring the voices of Tom Hulce, Demi Moore, Kevin Kline, Tony Jay, Paul Kandel, Charles Kimbrough, Jason Alexander, Mary Wickes, and David Ogden Stiers, was released.
June 21, 1996 – The “Hunchback of Notre Dame – a Musical Adventure” attraction opened in the Backstage Theater in Disney-MGM Studios at WDW. (Closed Apr. 19, 1998)
June 21, 1996 – The Disney film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” was released.
June 21, 1996 – “The Hunchback of Notre Dame Festival of Fools” opened in Disneyland.
June 21, 1996 – The Big Thundr Barbecue “Festival of Foods” took place at Disneyland.
June 21, 2000 – The attractions “Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold,” and “Song Maker,” debuted in Disney Quest at WDW.
June 21, 2001 - The Power of Blast! Opened at The American Adventure in Epcot.
June 21, 2002 – Disney’s animated “Lilo & Stitch” opened in theaters.
June 21, 2002 – Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch Aloha From Hollywood” aired on ABC-TV.
June 21, 2002 – Country singer Wyonna Judd appeared on “Good Morning America,” and would sing “Burning Love,” the Elvis Presley song she recorded for the “Lilo & Stitch” soundtrack.
