At this point, we will not be on the dining plan because we can get AAA discounts for room only. With that said, is it worth it to eat at the hibachi grill at Japan? Is that Teppan Edo (or something like that)? We have never eaten here before, but LOVE Japanese food. Is it a normal "show" like all of them or better? TIA!

1) Yes, it is the show.
2) Compared to Benihana or Kobe, it is lesser of a show.
3) But, not bad.

We eat there at least twice a trip - very comparable to benihana, osaka, or ichiban....I worked at a hibachi restaurant for a while and Disney's will always be my favorite - and we ALWAYS order a sushi appetizer...yummy!!!
