Mickey's BBQ or Hoop-Dee-Doo

I am trying to make a decision on these two places. My deciding factor is going to be dessert because it seems like they basically have the same food. I see HDD has strawberry short cake and BBQ has ice cream and watermelon. Can someone be more descriptive and tell me what the ice cream consists of or which meal/show you'd recommend.

I am taking 2 3yr olds and we've decided not to do the Luau this time.

Something to think about... At MBYBBQ, you go get your own food; at HDD, they bring large amounts to you.

Something else... At MBYBBQ, you pick your own place at picnic tables and if you get up, you might not get your seat back with a view of the floor/show that may be less than exemplary; at HDD you are seated at a specific table with a decent view of a raised stage show.

Personally, I would do HDD over MBYBBQ every time.
