June 11, 1989 – Disney’s Davy Crockett movie starring Tim Dunigan “A Letter to Polly” aired.
June 11, 1993 – The Disney TV series “Cutters” began airing on CBS. (Ended July 9, 1993)
June 11, 1993 – Disneyland’s Motor Boat Cruise in Fantasyland closed. (It opened in June 1957).
June 11, 1993 – The Disneyland attraction “Motor Boat Cruise” located on the borders of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland closed.
June 11, 2004 – The Disney Channel Original Movie “Zenon:Z3” premiered.
June 11, 2005 – The National Kidney Foundation of Florida hosted the Gift of Life 5K Race for Organ & Tissue Donation Awareness at Epcot. (The race is designed to raise financial donations as well as awareness for organ donations.)
June 11, 2006 – Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone closed the 2006 Flower Power Concert series at Epcot with 3-final performances.
June 11, 2006 – The first set of “All-Star Family Suites” opened to guests at the All-Star Resorts at WDW.
June 11, 2007 – Disneyland’s newest attraction “Finding Nemo: Submarine Voyage” opened to the general public.
June 11, 2007 – Variety reported that Pixar’s release for 2009 would be an animated feature titled “Up,” about a 70-year-old man who teams with a wilderness ranger to fight beasts and villains.
