Is it easy to get from Contemporary to Whispering Canyon

We are staying at the Contemporary and eating at the Whispering Canyon one night. What is the best way to get there? I heard there is a boat to wilderness lodge...not sure where teh starting point is. Any help would be great.

Take the boat (out the rear door and straight to the dock).

The contemporary....walk out past the pool and you will see the dock where the boat to WL and FWC. Its an especially pleasant journey in the late afternoon.

Out the back at Contemporary Resort, from the dock at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom if leaving from there.

Make sure you get the boat direct to the WL, though, and not the one that goes to Ft. Wilderness first. It's been a few years, but I recall there being a blue flag and a green flag distinguishing between the two different boats.

If you start at the Magic Kingdom, there is a boat that will take you directly to the Wilderness Lodge.
From the Contemporary, there is a boat that will go first to the Wilderness Lodge and then
to Fort Wilderness before returning to the Contempory.
Fron other theme parks, take the bus to the Wilderness Lodge.

Returning: Take the boat back to the Contemporary by first going to Fort Wilderness.

Or, if the Magic Kingdom is still open, take the
boat over to the park. You can then either walk or take the monorail back to the Contempory.

There are signs at each boat dock to tell you which colored flag boat to take.
