We went to the MNSSHP last year and it was fabulous! Tickets were about $40 for kids 3-9, and around $45 for adults. I'm sure the price will probably go up this year like everything else. If you go, don't miss the parade. I don't usually care that much for parades, but that one is awesome! (And they give out candy!!):mpumpkin::ghost::bat::pumpkin:

I agree with above...the parade is amazing! Also a picture infront of the haunted mansion with the ghost undertaker in the background was a talk of the night for us too! Worth every dollar spent!!!

WE LOVE MNSSHP! It is our favorite party! Do not miss out on all the awesome photo ops as well! The one facing the side of the castle is a really neat pic. Also, make sure to get a pic w/Cindy's Royal coach.

What kinds of candy do they give? Is it normal stuff you would see for Halloween in your neighborhood or does it tend to be Disney treats?:mickey:

The candy is just the normal candy that you would get anywhere, they do give out little Disney trinkets too though. Like last year we got a Winnie the Pooh mathching card game and some other small trinkets.:mickey:

We have been the last 5 years and would not dream of missing it. I would love it if they would mix things up a little, but I am not complaining I realize most guests do not get to attend as often as we do.

The prices have skyrocketed. It seems to me the first year we went they were in the high thirties (I may be mistaken). This year it is over $50 bucks....but still worth it. The last 5 years we have been allowed to enter the park around 4:30 (although I think it was as early as four). In the past we used to not even purchase park tickets for that day because it is such a late night if you stay till midnight. We just slept in and let the boys play at the hotel.

If you are indeed going at the end of October you may want to go ahead and purchase tickets. This event has been known to sell out around Halloween.

You will meet characters you rarely ever see at other times, the parade like others have said is unbelievably good and the fireworks...among the best Disney has to offer.
