Labor and Delivery Pixie Dust

My cousin (and friend),Kelly is being induced this morning.This is her first baby and although he's not due for 2 weeks the doctor is concerned about his size.If she goes any longer they think he'll be over 10 lbs!
So if you have any Pixie Dust to spare please send it her way.
I'm very excited for Kelly and her husband,Mike and can't wait to meet,"Baby Boy"!

:pixie: coming straight from a labor & delivery nurse... I hope she does great! Being her first, and being early, it's probably going to take awhile, but you never know... sometimes first-time moms surprise us!! I hope it all goes smoothly, and that she'll be hugging her new little boy very soon!! :pixie:

No baby today.They waited at the hospital for 8 hours after induction and .......nothing.So they discharged her.If he doesn't come before Sunday they'll try induction again.

They induced her and then sent her home? Wow.

They induced me 2 weeks early because I was 4 cm, and the doctor couldn't believe that I wasn't feeling any contractions or pain or anything. That was a friday before labor day. They told me to walk. So, walk I did. I walked the whole 3 day weekend and then I was exhausted. I went to the doctors office first thing Tuesday morning and told them I wanted to be induced. Two hours later, I had my baby. Seriously, two hours. LOL. And yes, it was my first (and only).

Yay for baby Jackson! Hmmm...guess their predictions about his size were a little bit off. I think this is pretty typical. Weight predictions are often inaccurate.
