I keep reading about this please tell were this is and bit more about t rex thank guys:confused:

....it's located at Downtown Disney (Marketplace Area...near Fulton's)....and is a "themed" restaurant similar to the Rainforest Cafe (same company owns it).

Exactly! A restaurant in DTD that is themed throughout, like the Rainforest Cafe, but T-Rex is all about dinosaures. It's fairly cool, we enjoyed it well enough!

It was a blast and the food was pretty good. I highly recommend it.

Cama.. I was lucky enough to have dinner there opening night last October... The restaurant has two different rooms.. One room is the Fire Room, the other is the Ice Room..

The Fire Room is colored red... Every 15 minutes or so, there is a meteor shower... if you look up, you can see the meteors over head... You hear them crashing and exploding on the earth's surface..

The Ice Room is blue in color and designed to look like an ice cave, complete with a frozen dinosaur in it... During the meteor shower, the room changed color, and looks like the ice is melting...

The T-Rex AA at the front of the restaurant is pretty neat... The food is very good... I liked it better than Rainforest...

Go there if you can... You'll enjoy it...

Ohh yea, the bar area is designed to look like you are under water, and there is a pretty nifty gift shop where you can build your own dinosaur..

We are going to WDW this Sept, do we need to make an ADR for T-Rex or can you just show up?

When I went in October, I just showed up because they weren't taking ADRs... I don't think Disney does the ADR for T-Rex... You need to call T-REX itself... I would make an ADR...

Ok i will love it to:secret:
I made a res by calling wdw dinning.
It was hard to find one for 8 of us but got one for the last night we were there.

So do you need to wait til the 90 day mark like Disney Resturaunts or how far in advance can to make reservations for T-Rex? We are down to 117 days til WDW.

I just called 1-407-828-TREX and got through right away and made a reservation for 6pm. Kathy from MJ said she thinks you can make ressies up to 6 months in adavance we are 117 days away and got a ressie.
