2009/2010 Planning Books

Has anyone received their 2009 / 2010 planning books yet??? I don't think i ever received one for 2009...

You don't have to call to get one. All menbers should receive it. It seems that they send them out in waves, so it takes a while. I have not received ours yet here in PA.

My friends got theirs on Saturday... for 2009.... Nothing like getting the 2009 planning book half way through the year.. LOL...

I originally thought that is why they might have been delayed, but lo and behold it doesn't even have 2010 in it.:confused:

So I agree with DF2002, getting 2009 midway through the year is pretty funny. At this point, save the expense and get 2010 out asap so people can plan ahead.

No 2010 book yet but we printed out the 2010 point charts and placed them in our 2009 book. :mickey:

Just curious but does anyone think they send them out based on the month of your contract? Doubtful but I guess anything's possible. Mark

The most recent Vacation Planner I have is for 2008/2009. I have not received the planner for 2009/2010. I guess the DVC figures that mid-season distribution of the current year is okay since they overlap years.

The DVC member website will give the point updates (increases) for 2010. :mickey:

We received our 2009 planner yesterday!:thumbsup: Also in the back of our planner there was a separate insert for the 2010 point charts. I was reading that alot of people just received the 2009 points chart with out 2010. So im not sure if my insert is new or everyone got it as well and did not realize it.

I did not realize it till they fell out of back sleeve!:confused:

They certainly make things look great in those books! Lots of nice pics with families having fun. Maybe one of these days I'll use points in Europe... There actually seemed to be some decent deals for European travel! I'm still amazed at how "point heavy" cruises are...

Mine came today. Yes it does seem a lot later than usual. I know our dues pay for these so I am wondering how much they cost. Very thick and glossy paper. Got to say I don't think members need something like this every year - it's more of a resource for new members. Maybe the number of times the full brochure is issued could be cut down with only new info being sent out inbetween.

I thought the exact same thing. :unsure:
They spent a load of money producing these things. The only thing that interested me was the small 5 page brochure of "point charts." Really, does anyone need more than that? :confused:

Also, in the day and age of going "green," could DVC not direct people to use the website more often, and then they direct more of their efforts and (our) money towards upgrading the technology?

The planning guide was a bit larger this year; a bit over the top if you ask me...

Didn't get one yet and it's June 11(and I am a June use year). I have last year's 2008-2009 planner. I agree that they don't need to do these every year(every other would be just fine since they cover 2 years).

Has anyone in Illinois recieved theirs yet? More specifically the Chicagoland area. My mail carrier is not very good and I'm always worried that things get lost.

Got our in Virginia today! Great timing; we leave tommorrow for 13 nights in the World:cloud9:. It will give my son something to read on the 12 hour drive down.
