I have a couple boys that would love to go there but we will be on the dining plan. If not on the DP is it worth paying out of pocket to go there? What can you tell me about it?

It is not on the DDP, but worth it out of pocket I think. I have 2 DS's ages 6 and 8 and a DD3 and they loved the place. It has way cooler theming than rainforest cafe and better food! The portions were huge though! Even the kids meals were big! We'll probably go back again in September.

T-Rex isn't on the dining plan, and you have to made reservations directly with the restaurant (and be sure to make them, there was a 60 minute wait when we were there).

It was good, not great, but good. DD (11) enjoyed it, took a zillion pictures of everything and the food was good. It was about $100 for the three of us, and since it isn't on the DDP, we won't bother going back next trip.

Does T-REX take advanced dining reservations?

When we ate there in Dec the waitress said is was but only on the deluxe plan with wine??? You can eat there cheaper if you go apps etc. Just to go in and eat there if for nothing else it's a neat idea..
