I know this question may have already been answered out there in Intercot land but here goes.

I will be vacationing in the world with my daughter and her family in August and we are on the dining plan.

Some of the evening we will be dining together which will make a party of 7. We are on seperate dining plans.

Will they add the 18% tip to both checks instead of just indicating what you can pay when we eat together?

Thanks you guys are the greatest.

It doesn't matter how many checks are issued - if the ADR is for 7 people, they will automatically add the tip to the check.

Yes, make sure they know who's in each party, the tip is based on the cash cost of what you order, some set amount based on the cost of the dining plan. Keeping the checks straight will make it fair for everyone.

And yes, on a party of 6 or more (based on headcount of EVERYONE at the table regardless of age - from a 1 day old to a 100 year old) has the "gratuity" automatically calculated and billed to the guests.
