Nice Bald Eagle shot

This shot came out nice with no Photoshop trickery. It's a re-habed injured bird at the zoo which cannot be released back into the wild.

That is a great shot!!!! I love bald eagles. We got to see some at Busch Gardens a couple of years ago. My pictures don't look even close to as good as yours! Great Job.

What kind of camera did you take it with?

It's a Canon Rebel XS SLR, which is a mass market camera. The camera is not that important, it's learning the prinicples of photography. Film or digital, all the the physics are the same.
There are cage wires between me and the eagle. To get them out of the photo, use a long lens, a fast shutter speed and open the lens very wide.:mickey:
