You have driven for hours / days and you arrive at the happiest place on earth:cloud9:

You arrive in front of your resort and soak it all in.

What is the first thing that you say when you get there?;)

94 days to the happiest place on earth:mickey:

Does anyone else cry when they are sitting on the ME bus and it pulls away to take you to the airport? I do, almost every time.

Oh yeah. I cry at a lot of things, and that one gets me every time, both coming and going. My kids make fun of me.

It starts at the airport with "See any 'gators?" My Dad is obsessed with aligators, and desperately wants to see one at the airport.

Once we get to WDW, it's "PURPLE SIGNS! We're here!!!" That comes along with that feeling in the pit of your stomach that I know we all get. The feeling that you know what is awaiting you on the other side of that sign, and you just can't wait to get to it!!

Come on Saturday! Hurry up and get here!!!:mickey:

Our family has a tradition that everyone in the car must be awake when we drive through the WDW entrance "gates". As soon as we drive through that entrance we all start yelling "Disney World"!!!! Then we each pick a color monorail and the first person to spot any monorail gets a surprise, and the first color (of the ones we picked) monorail we see the person who picked that color gets a surprise to, its usually disney dollars. Don't ask why we do this or when it started but we do it everytime. Only 26 dys till we get to do this!!

Honestly, every time I take my kids to ANY hotel/resort, the first thing I say before we even get out of the car is this:

"Remember, behind every door is a stranger. This hotel has (x) number of rooms." (CSR has almost 2,000 rooms)

Yes, I am like a paranoid safety officer for my family.

Now that they are 17,15 and 9...they recite the line with me. All together now "behind every door is a stranger", like there are all 5 years old. They all chuckle at me, but they know I HAVE to say it.

I usually say and think to myself, "Isnt it all worth it?" Meaning work and stress all year long!

"I'm home!" *with a tear in my eye.

This is EXACTLY what I say when I walk into Pop's lobby for the first time on the trip. I just breathe a huge sigh of relief.

As soon as the plane lands though we all say "First palm tree sighted! WOOOOO!" My mom and I are obsessed with palm trees and we always talk about taking one home with us. haha.

It starts at the airport with "See any 'gators?" My Dad is obsessed with aligators, and desperately wants to see one at the airport.

He should have been with DW and me Saturday. We had to stop and pull onto the road shoulder to avoid hitting a 'gator that was stretched across my lane. (We live in coastal NC)

Usually, the first thing I say is something to the effect of, "Have I got it centered?" as I back the RV into our site. :D

He would have loved that! They saw one on the side of the road in FL once and he about pushed mom out of the window to get a picture!

It's not what is said, as much as how it feels. As soon as we pass through those gates, ALL, and I mean ALL of the stresses of life go away. Knowing that life will be stress-free and 100% enjoyable for the next week is a feeling that just can't be beat.

We always start clapping and cheering for joy as we pass under the "WELCOME' sign. Then we always say we are here.

When our plane lands, our kids try to be the first one to spot a palm tree and say "PALM TREE!". When we get to Disney, we always break into a huge round of applause and cheers when we cross on to DIsney property - yippee!!:mickey:

Well, if I've been driving for hours/days to get here, I suspect the first thing I'd say is something like "I'll be right back" as I head to the restroom.

Actually, prior to that I probably would have said "Good Morning" to the person in the guard shack, if there is one.

If I arrive on Disney's Magical Express, it's probably "Thank You" to the driver as I exit the bus.

I think the first thing I say is usually along the line of

"EEEEEEEEEE!!!"

accompanied with much bouncy and giggling.
