May 12, 2000 – The “Fantasyland Theater,” sponsored by Nestle, opened at Disneyland.
May 12, 2001 – Some WDW’S chef’s from “Victoria & Alberts,” the Contemporary Resort, and the Grand Floridian, took part in the event called “Folktales & Fairytales” at the Mennello Museum of American Folk Art. The event benefits the Orlando Opera, the Winter Park Public Library and the Mennello Museum.
May. 12, 2001 – The “Motion” Dance Club opened at Pleasure Island at WDW.
May 12, 2002 – “Dinotopia,” a six-hour mini-series from Hallmark Entertainment aired on The Wonderful World of Disney.
May 12, 2005 – Members of the Board of Governors of the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society gathered in Disneyland to congratulate fellow Society Governor (and Disney Legend) Ollie Johnson for receiving the “Walter E. Disney Railroad Preservation Award,” the highest honor given by the Society.
