Ok, taking from the post about the best restaurant IN MK.....someone mentioned going out of MK to eat. My questions is where are the best places to jump on the monorail or ferry to eat while at MK?? That is if you just want to take a break, get something to eat and head back into the park. I'd like to hear where you like to go and what's good there!!

Ohana and California Grill are both awesome.

My family enjoys Wispering Canyon at the WL. The boat ride over and back is nice too.

'Ohana, Grand Floridian Cafe, Narcoossee's, California Grill are my favorites. What's good? Everything! Menus are at Info Central.

There's also Citricos, Kona Cafe, The Wave, Spirit of Aloha, 1900 Park Fare, and Chef Mickey's around the monorail. A boat ride away, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Artist Point, Trails' End, and Hoop Dee Doo Review.

I would say Ohana or Chef Mickey's. The Polynesian is a beautiful resort and the food is good and plentiful at Ohana. At Chef Mickey's there is a nice variety of food and the character experience is the best we have had in WDW. We have always really wanted to try Whispering Canyon as well as it also seems like it would be good and I am dying to see the WL. It is definately nice to do a meal outside of the parks because you get to see more of the magic of the world. The resorts are all neat in their own way.

Assuming you don't want a fancy meal, I would say the Wave with no ADR and Kona Cafe with an ADR.

For fancy, I love both California Grill and Artist's point.

The Counter Service places are good at any of the monorail resorts. That can be a nice option if you just need to get out of the park for a little while.

We left MK twice last trip to eat dinner. We took the boat to Fort Wilderness and ate at Trail's End and we took the monorail to the Contemporary and ate at Chef Mickey's

Take the monorail to the Polynesian to eat at Ohana's.

If you are talking about lunch, I say hop on the monorail and grab lunch at the Kona Cafe. The terryaki steak salad is one of my favorite dishes at WDW. :eat:

The Grand Floridian Cafe has great food, great service and a relaxing atmosphere, which is nice when taking a break from the parks.

Diz Girl has it right. Take the boat from MK direct to the GF and go to the GF Cafe. I think its the best kept dining secret on property.

I don't believe in leaving a park for dinner.it just wastes too much time.If I am not eating in a park,I would rather leave the park a bit early and go dine elsewhere.
I am there for the park attractions, not over-priced dining, golf, spas, or anything else.
Just my two cents.
