We go to MNSSHP and are going again this year and I am, trying to decide on the costume for this year. I am seriously considering trying to make myself a really good Stitch Costume. I am a props designer and special FX artist but have never done a full material costume. ANY input AT ALL on how to make this a really good costume, would be great! If I do it, I don't want it to look cheesy at all, it would have to be good.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

I'm sure you'll come up with something amazing, but in these planning stages, I would seriously consider the heat and humidity factor. A few years ago, in early October I went as Velma from Scooby Doo (orange turtleneck, brown wool skirt, and knee socks) and I was really melting (especially with the turtleneck). Being so hot really detracted from my party experience. I can't imagine wearing a full fur costume!
