We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast! It is really cheerful, fun, entertaining and delicious! The variety of food is really awesome and getting to dance and sing w/ Chef Goofy is so much fun! This has become a MUST for every trip!

Depends on what you are looking for in a character meal. We love Chef Mickeys!! It is loud and fun and just a good way to start the day. Cape May is a quiter character meal. We enjoyed it and my DD loved the character interaction. The food at both is good. If you like to start your mornings a little quieter then Cape May is the choice. If you do not mind a crazy fun spirited start to your morning then you will love Chef Mickey's. We like to do both while on our trips. :cloud9:

We always make a reservation (hold) for Cape May Cafe.

It is not loud or crazy and it is very relaxing.

The food is delicious, and all you can eat.

Fish, Salads, Beef, Pork, Desserts (my favorite)

They put paper on the tables for table cloths and the children get crayons so they can color while waiting for their dinner.

Wouldn't miss it.

I've never been to Cape May. Been to Chef Mickey's several times. Always fun!!!! My favorite character breakfast is O'hana though. I just love the view from there, and it is a lot more quieter.

I voted for Cape May only because we love the atmosphere and the characters visit for more than just a pic or two.

That said, we also love doing Chef Mickey's because it is loud and festive.

They are BOTH on our "to do" list!!!

We like the food at Cape May better, but the characters and the experience for our DD’s is much better at Chef Mickey’s.:mickey:

We've been to both and I chose Cape May. Loved the food, the characters came around often and best of all it wasn't as chaotic at Chef Mickeys.

Chef Mickey's ... I think the location, food, and character interaction are all better! Don't get me wrong, Cape May is good, but I tink Chef Mickey's is a must for breakfast :number1:

I know my Disney vacation has started once I have breakfast at Chef Mickey's. It's become a tradition with us to eat there our first morning in Disney. We actually tried to schedule something else in its place for our upcoming trip but then realized we'd miss it too much.

We love Chef Mickey's. Mainly because of its location and the characters really do try to interact with all of the guests. Good luck!

:mickey: Just did both these character breakfasts two weeks ago. Enjoyed them both very much - however I do enjoy the food at Chef Mickey's just a little more. Interaction with the characters was good at both.

Cape May = relaxing meal, pleasant music, non-rushed characters, non-crowded restaurant.

Chef Mickey's = loud music, frantic atmosphere, Mickey & Minnie sprinting (literally) at times, large crowds, rushed characters.

As my neighbor/friend put it, "Chef Mickey's is like breakfast on speed."

We are huge Cape May fans. Love the atmosphere and the character interaction. Much more intimate and less chaotic than Chef Mickey's.
