I want to get something as closely resembles the very first D&D game that was released back in 1974. Can someone tell me what I'm looking for?

Thank you!

I am a huge D&D fan! I wasn't around when it all started, but I know alot about it and have friends who know even more. I don't understand exactly what you are asking. If you could try and clarify I might be able to help you. :mickey:

The original game was produced by TSR and has been updated/ revised several times and is currently produced by Wizards of the Coast, a subsidry of Hasbro. A web search should get you the information you are looking for. Wizards of the Coast may own the publishing rights of the 1974 version. You may also find a site like intercot that has a D&D community that will have D&D devotees that should have the answers you need. You may also find copies of the original on a internet auction site but I would quess it would be rare/ collectible and therefore pricey.
