We are planning on being there the first week of December. On the nights of the MVMCP, does the the park close to everyone except people with event tickets at 7pm? This could be an interesting kink in the plan . . .:mickey:

I can't remember if they make everyone without tix to MVMCP leave, but they won't let anyone without the wristband ride any of the rides. We had to show the wristband for each ride. It was great! I highly recommend MVMCP. I LOVE WDW during the holidays! Bestest time to go.

If you don't have a wristband they'll poliety point you towards the exit. The park is only open to party ticket holders after 7. Usually the parks get REALLY crowded on party nights after 4 because all the folks with party tickets but not regular park admission are let in after 4 pm.

they escort people out, i know you can't see any characters or ride any rides without the wristband..last years crowd control was a lot better than the year before!! BUt, you can't get and cookies or hot cocoa either without the wristband. A lot of people say its still not good enough, you can stay for the parade and the fire works..but who cares,.Its Christmas..and your in Disney..what matters is the time ya spend with your families!!

I've been the past couple of years and people without wristbands were asked to leave the park. MVMCP is a great event and well worth the money. Because they limit the number of people in the park, you can get a ton done! Also, the holiday parade is AMAZING! That parade and the Jingle Jungle parade in Animal Kingdom are my two favorites.

We were at MK all day on a night of a party and had tickets to the party but forgot to get the wristbands. On our way to get a wristband we were ask 5 times to see out party ticket and get a wristband or we would have to leave. Very polite, but CM's were very much on top of crowd control that night.
