i am so sad, my Daddy died, he was 90 years old and one of the best men i have ever to meet. he had great compassion and loved our mom so much, she died 5 yrs. ago and he always said they had a 62 year love affair. they loved to travel, mostly to old mexico, they would go and stay in the winter in guadalajara after Daddy retired. i am sorry if this is not the right forum for this but i feel like you-all are my friends on here. he had integrity and i never heard him say a bad word about anyone.:sadwave: Daddy and Mom added 68 people to this earth.and will be greatly missed.

I am very sorry to hear about your father. My father will be gone 20 yrs in April and my mom is gone 3 yrs in February. I miss them so much and think about them everyday. You are very lucky to have a long life with your parents and always remember you have great memories that can never be taken away from you. thank you all so much. i never could get Daddy to go to disneyworld with me, i took Mom in 1996 and every night she thanked me and gave me a big hug. she loved it and she has traveled all over, but Daddy thought it was just a big six flags which he went to once. every time i go in spaceship earth i think has fascinated he would be, but he wouldn't go.

I feel your pain. I just lost my father on March 5th at the age of 84. My mother has been gone 17 yrs and as much as I miss them both I am very glad they are back together again. I was very close to my dad and it sounds like you were too. My best defense right now is to focus on the great times we had and the great memories we created. It is hard but I know we will get thru it. It helps to have our fellow Intercotee's support at times like these. Thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts.
