Well Fantasia almost pulled off the first upset. Here is another matchup that will only run 24 hours before we rerurn to the normal 48 hour battles. I doubt the fairest of them all goes down here... but according to some "everybody wants to be a cat".

Snow White (1937) The first animated film in history. 49th in AFI's top 100 movies of all time. Was the highest grossing movie in history until Gone With The Wind unseated it. Not much else to say that has not been said, easily one of the favorites to win this tournament. Recived a bye in round one.

The Aristocats (1970) Disney's jazzy cat feature was a mild hit in it's initial release. The movie has aged well, and Thomas O'Malley and Dutchess have been overshadowed by Marie who has become a Disney marketing favorite. Defeated "Ichabod and Mr.Toad" in round one.

Even though it defeated the great Ichabod and Mr. Toad I had to vote for the cats.

I really think there should have been a both category. :D

I ended up voting for Aristocats. The "one wheeled haystack with a bumbershoot" put it over the top for me.:mickey:

But I love Dopey!! Sorry Snow White!

Okay, that's it....I'm no longer voting since my vote seems to jinx all of my favorites .... poor aristocats, thought you could pull off the upset.
