Will it be impossible to get a FP for Soarin' if we get to EPCOT after lunch? We have very limited time and I want to be sure to plan accordingly.

We'll be there the first week in May.

We were at DW in April, 2008, and tried to get a fastpass for Soarin'. We went right around noon and the fp's were for like between 5:45 and 6:45 that evening. Maybe it's better now or depends on the crowds that day.

We'll be there the same time as you!!!

When we went in September 2007 (last week) we went to Epcot and checked out Soarin around noon. There was a 90 minute wait a that point, but the fast past time was only an hour and 15 mins from then so we grabbed fast passes, ate lunch and relaxed a bit and then headed over. it worked out for us, and we are hoping to be able to do it again in May when we are there.

we'll wave if we see you!!! lol.

When we were there in January, we arrived at Epcot just as it opened and headed immediately back to Soarin'. The FPs we got were already for 1:15 that afternoon. When we got off, we grabbed another set for that evening (so that was about 2:00) and they were for 7:30. The week we went in January is considered a "low crowd" week so I can imagine that waiting until after noon to grab them during a more peak season would be hit or miss. You might get them for very late in the evening or not at all.

We were there the first week of May last year and would usually get our Soarin FP after lunch. There were days that it would be for early evening but I don't remember them ever being out until mid afternoon.

We got to EPCOT early, got our FP but they were for 7:45 p.m. It worked out for us. We had to wait all day, but well worth it. Go for it!!!:mickey:

First week of May you should be fine. May be a later time like 5ish but no big deal.

Where are you having lunch? We often will get a FP and have lunch at either Coral Reef or Sunshine Seasons, then ride after our meal!

We were there last week and grabbed fastpasses about noontime. They were for a return between 5:15-6:15pm.

We are on I-10 driving back from WDW as I type. There was not a FP line we saw last week that had passes available after about 1230 - 1:00.

TSM had a LINE for FP's that was about a 30 minute wait at 9:30 in the morning.

It was absolutely ridiculous. This is the first time I had to schedule a trip around a child's (out of school schedule) and I'll never do it again.

There wasnt a descent attraction where the standby line was less than 90 minutes.

We will be there the first week of May too. I'm hoping the crowds won't be too bad. We usually go at slower times of the year and haven't had a problem getting fast passes around lunch time. A few times, the return times were too late in the evening for us, but not too often.
